Hotel DeCo
Located within the city of Florence, a former monastery holding todays name as ‘Le Murate,’ has been the site of this conceptual project. As the historical site itself has been completely tranformed into a polyfunctional area for the public, the conceptual design proposal has been elaborated into a hotel project with an Art Deco twist - hence the name chosen.

Art Deco being a statement itself has inspired the overall design to transform into a contemporary feel. Dashes of color and accents of shapes dominate the visitors experience within the DeCo.
Cohesion of space
The space itself holds the capacity to accommodate a wide range of zones with an aim for the disposition to become functional for both the public and staff. An emphasis has been placed upon the circulation for both categories for a smooth navigation throughout the hotel.
